We had an amazing time in Colombia this past February changing kids lives.  We made a VIDEO from some of our clips.  On this trip we visited two very distinct places.  One area was in the Choco region of Colombia.  The town we impacted was called Termales.  Only a couple of the kids there had boards so it was cool to bring more love (surfboards) to them.

A woman named Elisabeth reached out to us looking to impact some kids she works with at an orphanage in DR. She wanted to take some boards with her and needed help getting some. We were happy to be a part of her vision for the kids in DR. The boards went to the town of Bahoruco, which is one of the fishing villages near Barahona, which is a town in the Southern part of the Dominican Republic. The older kids teach the younger ones to surf. They also manage who uses the boards and when. All kids start bodyboarding and once they do that well, they are allowed to go and use the real boards.

A homeschool family in Jupiter is starting a free surfing class for homeschool teens. Ladd Greene, a surfer from California, is donating his time to teach the class. They have about 30 teens total in the group and about half of them want to take the class. This homeschool group are all one-income families with not a lot of disposable cash, so finding enough boards to share has been a challenge for them. We are so stoked they reached out to us so we could help. We love being able to help surf schools start.

Marlon is an amazing kid with a very big heart. He first reached out to STSF a few months ago to volunteer. Until recently I didn't know that he had been dying to get a surfboard. When I found out I knew we had to get him one ASAP. Marlon has volunteered with STSF at a couple of events. He is a great team player and happy to help. We are proud of you Marlon.

Silas is an amazing kid. He lives in Jupiter and just recently started volunteering for STSF. We totally surprised him with this surfboard and we could barley talk and stop pacing! It was beautiful. Silas is an amazing athlete. He competes in triathlons. He is an amazing young man and we are PROUD to have him.

Amanda is a sweetheart of a young lady. She is 16 years old and from Royal Palm Beach. She has tried surfing once and loved it. She wants to catch big waves! We are stoked for her and stoked on her saying that she wants to catch big waves! So do we:)

Samara- Loves the ocean! Loves the beach life and wanted to learn how to surf. She has borrowed many boards but never got to own her own. Now she does!

Mario attends John L. Leonard High School. He is 16 years old. He is stoked to meet new people in the water. We are excited to get you in the water and get you shredding on a free surfboard.

Ronny is a 16 year old who attends John L. Leonard High School. He is involved in band and skateboarding. He is excited to surf "because it is peaceful and calming". All his friends surf so now he can get out there and join them instead of sitting waiting to borrow a board.
